It’s that time of the year when you go over the best of the previous years. You will find a lot of lists on the best of this and that…but the truth is, nobody cares so much to read through them. Without much ado, we bring you a concise list of the top ten songs of 2017. You may not agree with everything on this list, but one thing is sure – you are going to check out a couple of songs after reading through this playlist.

Style dropped this bomb on us last year, and we are still feeling the vibes. No other rock artist came close; it was all harried. His strong empathy and confidence that followed the melodious music made us believe he saw the signs of the end time.

The song wasn’t that jam until Dua dropped the music video. She made it clear from the effortlessly rendered choreography that a new sheriff is in town. The song itself is stylish, but the video oozed so much class that it has to be in the top ten.

Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee Featuring Justin Bieber – “Despacito”

Well, there is no perfect way to describe this song than what you already feel about it. We know you like it, must have hummed alone and break-danced a couple of times while listening to this great music.

Lorde – “Green Light”

No one saw Lorde coming with this monster hit, and she delivered one of the best pop songs of the year. “Green Light” was big, and we look forward to more great hits from Lorde.

Selena Gomez – “Bad Liar”

The Disney star has never failed her fans since she broke into the limelight. She left us humming to “Bad Liar” with her tiny voice that sounds more like a murmuring schoolgirl.

Kendrick Lamar – “DNA”

There is nothing to you can’t make out this rap song. The song is dope; the flows dropped likes it hot, the voice filled with so much ego and charisma, the song in one word—Lit.

Lil Uzi Vert – “XO Tour Llif3”

“XO Tour LIif3” is so full of life although it celebrates the beauty of death. The song is so deep you that it takes you to another level after the first stanza.

Calvin Harris featuring Frank Ocean and Migos – “Slide”

It was difficult trying to pick out the best Calvin Harris songs of 2017. All his tracks were the perfect summer party anthem, but “Slide” with Ocean and Migos stands out in melody, style, and craft.

Kendrick Lamar – “HUMBLE”

While trying to be “Humble” Lamar raised the bar over his rivals and left them down their dreaming on the brighter feature. He is on another level this year, and it will take a lot of hard work and dedication to displace him from the top. As he stated on this track, for you to get to the top, you need to stay “Humble”.

Cardi B – “Bodak Yellow”

This song simply stands in a class of its own, the beat, lyrics, and surge are out of this world. Cardi took her game to the next level and surely is now a force.
